William Moschella
Principal, CEO

With more than 15 years of experience in enterprise technology, Bill Moschella leads eVariant® as Principal, CEO. Since its inception, Bill has shaped eVariant® to be a technical solutions firm focused on delivering ROI to businesses through browser-based applications. Bill is the tireless visionary behind the business value eVariant® brings to customers through its breakthrough technology solutions. Bill has also been and continues to be the driving force behind our successful partnerships with Eloqua, Omniture, and Salesforce.com.

Prior to founding eVariant®, Bill served as a creative and strategic consultant at PepsiCo, working with some of the world’s biggest brands on intercompany communications strategy in health and wellness awareness, as well as consulting to many of the top B2B divisions of this global organization. Bill has also worked closely with American Express, American Ski Company, BIC, Boston Scientific, Culvers, Little Caesar’s, Paramount Pictures, Sun Microsystems, United Technologies, and the University of Hartford, among others.

Bill has been a contributing author for many publications, including IDG Books Worldwide and their Bible series. For two consecutive years, Bill was responsible for writing the Audio chapters in their Flash Bible.

Bill attended the Berklee College of Music and graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Arts in Music (major) and Philosophy (minor). A talented musician, Bill has performed on stage and shared the bill with members of The Allman Brothers, Jimmy Cliff, and members of Phish. His innate musicality enables him to pick up virtually any instrument and play it by ear. Music – especially Van Halen – remains among Bill’s passions: You can frequently hear him burst into song behind his not-always-closed office door.


Rob Grant
Principal, EVP Client Solutions

Rob is responsible for the overall growth, operations, and financial aspects of eVariant®. He has nearly 20 years of experience establishing, directing and managing large-scale technology projects across many diverse industries, including consumer, financial services, education, health care and manufacturing. Rob has served many notable clients including Amica, Bose, Chemtura, Halifax Health, Harvard Business School, Harvard Law School, ING, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, MIT, Mohegan Sun, NYU, Sikorsky, Smith College, Swiss Army Brands, The Hartford, Thule Car Racks, Timex, United Technologies, and The University of Hartford.

Over the course of his career, Rob is credited with steering embryonic interactive agencies into industry-leading organizations. Along the way, Rob’s efforts have led to the creation of new sales, design and strategy departments, growing weekly revenue in one case by more than 12-fold over four years. Rob has also developed successful partnerships with many top technology companies including Microsoft, IBM, Vignette, Interwoven, Ektron and Red Dot.

Rob also serves as a top advisor to the Institute for Human Economics, an organization that advises C-suite executives at several of the top organizations and institutions around the world. He holds a BSBA in Marketing from Appalachian State University, where he was a U.S. Olympic Trials qualifier for the javelin. He practices the martial art of Kempo frequently – and the maritime art of boating around New England as often as possible.


Ryan Hubbard

Principal, Chief Technology Officer

Ryan has more than 12 years of experience in systems product development, product life cycle management and security. As Chief Technology Officer, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of eVariant’s products: custom development, technical implementations, and infrastructure.

Ryan is an expert in many Internet-based applications that utilize a variety of platforms and technologies. He has successfully led many complex, large-scale projects for a variety of organizations, including ADP, Thule, Muze, Pepsi, FreeShipping.com, American Express, Cosmedex, ACES and the University of Connecticut.  He was instrumental in the development of SNAP Interactive’s flagship Facebook application Are YOU Interested?, which consistently receives a Top 10 ranking, attracting more than one million unique Facebook users every day.

Ryan earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Connecticut. His pioneering spirit goes beyond technological pursuits: Most notably, Ryan has kayaked 172 miles down the Baja Peninsula, gone scuba diving with whale sharks in Belize, and studied how to be a mahout (elephant driver) in Thailand. Also an avid rock climber, when the weather’s warm, you’ll find him in “The Gunks” (The Shawangunk Mountains) in New York, one of the major rock climbing areas of North America.


Tim Pacileo
Senior Vice President, Consulting Services

Working primarily with global Fortune 500 corporations, Tim has more than 30 years of experience developing and managing an array of successful strategic business and information technology (IT) initiatives. Prior to joining eVariant, Tim was Vice President, U.S. Eastern Region, for Gartner Consulting, serving a variety of industries including IT, health care, insurance, manufacturing and financial services. His spectrum of responsibilities included: IT strategy; architecture design; outsourcing; network and telecommunications, including design and implementation; IT security; enterprise application selection, implementation and oversight; disaster recovery and business continuity planning; software and hardware evaluation and selection; and infrastructure design, focusing on data center and server consolidation, storage area networks (SANs) including virtualization and cloud computing.

Tim has extensive experience with data center assessments/consolidations, project and vendor management, as well as with IT strategy development and enterprise architecture planning. While at Gartner, Tim established their Global Data Center practice area.

Prior to his tenure at Gartner, Tim was Global Manager of Client Systems for AEI, a $1B global logistics company, where he had complete responsibility for all client/server applications development, PC hardware and software standards establishment, hardware and software purchase negotiations, network design and configuration, Internet application development, infrastructure design and security, and a Lotus Notes implementation supporting a global sales team of 300 people. Tim has also served as an IT consultant specializing in application selection and network design and implementation for the health care and mortgage banking industries.

Tim earned a bachelor’s degree in Education and Mathematics from Central Connecticut University, and has attended post-graduate school at Fairfield University. He has also completed extensive studies on client/servers, ITIL Process Management, Project Management and Executive Leadership.

When he’s not consulting with clients, you’ll find him consulting with travel agents: Tim has been to every major continent on the planet – with the exception of Antarctica. An avid sailor, he enjoys the relaxation of sailing his boat in the waters of New England, as well as the adrenaline of racing it. A brave DIY-er, he’s also up to Phase Three of his (potentially never-ending) renovations to his 200-year-old home. Previous phases have included the construction of five stone walls and a sunken stone patio.


Steve Bartolotta, CPA
Senior Vice President & CFO 

For more than 25 years, Steve has provided expert financial advice and strategic consulting services across a broad range of business disciplines including supply chain management, business process innovation and general business strategy. His accomplishments are as wide-ranging as clients with whom he has previously consulted with, including Ametek, BJs Wholesale Club, Dominick's Finer Foods, Microsoft, Ocean Spray Cranberries, Revco, Sears, Shaws, Southwestern Energy and Warner-Lambert, among others.

Steve was previously Executive Vice President of The Coast Distribution System, Inc. (Amex: CRV) where he held responsibility for corporate business strategy and their 14 division supply chain network. Steve was also a Senior Manager at Accenture within their Strategic Services Practice based in New York City where he led supply chain strategy projects.

Steve holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a love of the Texas Longhorns (“Hook ‘em, Horns!”) When he’s not strategizing the future of well known corporations, he is probably strategizing his next expert carpentry project or simply cooking gourmet meals in the kitchen of his 1860s farmhouse that he restored himself.


Todd Russell

Senior Vice President, Business Development

Todd is responsible for leading new business development at eVariant®. A one-man-band of marketing knowledge, his 15+ years of experience spans the full suite of integrated agency services, including operations, account management, media planning, PR, and creative. Todd’s career began in the Los Angeles market. Office consolidation brought him to the New York market, where he lead the account management of such distinguished brands as The Los Angeles Dodgers, Staples Center, Mercedes-Benz USA, and TUMI.

Todd’s accomplishments also include creating and launching a Sports Marketing division for a nationally recognized, award-winning agency. He has also led successful programs in publishing – first within the recreational boating industry, and later as founder of a reference directory serving the General Aviation industry.

Todd earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Planning from the University of Southern California. An ardent sailor since childhood, Todd has sailed all over the world, including across the Atlantic as part of an 8-person crew while in high school. In addition, he loves racing sailboats large or small, and golfing. Todd can also be found (or perhaps hopes never to be found) singing karaoke in a favorite restaurant hangout in New York City’s Koreatown. He has also memorized the theme songs to Thomas & Friends and Wonder Pets for his best audience at home.


Nick Bequary
Vice President, CRM & MA Consulting Services

Nick brings with him more than a decade of experience as a consultant in business system implementation, and as a strategist in sales, marketing and enterprise resource management. Nick is also the main contributor to eVariant’s project delivery methodology, which is used as the baseline for all projects.

Prior to joining eVariant®, Nick spent six years at Dun & Bradstreet as a professional services team leader, with additional responsibilities in product development and management. While there, he worked with several Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies, implementing a cutting edge SaaS (Software as a Service) solution set. Nick went on to serve as Engagement Manager for Green Beacon Solutions, a business strategy, CRM and enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation consultancy. During his three-year tenure there, he led many successful CRM, ERP and strategy engagements for variety of companies across many diverse industries.

Nick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Assumption College. When he’s not devising Software as a Service, he’s elevating Soccer as a Sport: While in college, Nick was the 4-year starter and captain on the Varsity Men’s Soccer Team, continually recognized with league honors. Upon graduation, Nick went back to his alma mater, serving as their Assistant Men’s Soccer coach. Nick continues to play high-level competitive soccer and won the Massachusetts State title in 2006.


Bettina Gray

General Manager
 
Bettina comes to eVariant with more than 15 years of cross-functional management experience in administration, human resources, accounting and operations, giving her a unique advantage in understanding the abstract visions of executive leaders as well as the pragmatism of technologists. She has a genuine passion for helping clients become more profitable and efficient through the appropriate use of CRM, business process automation and collaboration technologies.
 
Prior to eVariant, Bettina was Office Administrator for the Connecticut office of International Monetary Systems, the largest, publicly traded, full-service, membership-based barter network company in the United States.

Bettina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Central Connecticut State University. When she’s not keeping things on track at eVariant, Bettina prefers things off-the-beaten-path. You may find her on her motorcycle, biking along bucolic New England byways, poking around unique mom-and-pop antique shops, or hosting scrapbooking parties around her craft-supply-and-memento-covered dining table. An animal lover and rescuer, if you see a woman whiz past you on rollerblades pulled by a 90-pound mutt some summer evening, it’s probably Bettina and one of her furry friends.

Rich Pasewark

Rich possesses more than 20 years of experience as a business leader, strategist, and software visionary for some of the most recognized technology companies in the world. His experience spans the creative and enterprise solution markets as well as a broad mix of verticals from aerospace to publishing to retail. An early adopter and leader in SaaS and XML (eXtensible Markup Language), Rich has received recognition by a variety of publications and as a guest speaker.
 
Rich has increased the level of eBusiness integration at various Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies, skillfully positioning their unique assets and business processes in ways that directly promote faster growth, revenue lift and ROI, with a focus on continued innovations in efficiency. His many projects include working with Apple, Fidelity, Forbes Magazine, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Kohler, Merrill Lynch, Standard & Poors, Visa and at the U.S. Navy, where Rich was instrumental in designing and fully implementing a content and document management solution that transformed the entire fleet maintenance program. Rich has also developed, collaborated and lead teams of more than 100 with go-to-market strategies for multiple product lines across markets, and new product launches in both retail and Web platforms.

While Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Quark, Rich led the successful introduction of various new products, channel programs and partnerships. Rich has also held an array of executive positions spanning sales, marketing and technology at organizations such as Adobe, Frame Technology and EDS.
 
Rich holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology (major) and Economics (minor) from Gettysburg College.


Kenneth R. Alleyne, MD
Dr. Alleyne is a sports medicine orthopedic surgeon and health care entrepreneur practicing in Manhattan and Connecticut. He is the  Managing Partner at  Gardiner Ebers Consulting, a health care consultancy to the private equity, hedge fund and investment banking communities across all aspects of health care investment. Gardiner Ebers has carried out due diligence and consulting for more than $400 million of health care investment for clients that span small-angle venture capital firms  to multi-billion-dollar hedge funds, domestically and internationally.

After graduating from Williams College and prior to medical school, Dr. Alleyne was a  Wall Street investment banking junior analyst  and founder of Morphogen Pharmaceuticals, a biotechnology company focused on adult stem cell technology. He was selected for  a research  fellowship at the Harvard/MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology on novel biomaterials.  Dr. Alleyne completed sports medicine fellowship training at Yale University School of Medicine and  residency training at Howard University Hospital.

Dr. Alleyne is published in the areas of biomaterials, sports medicine, telemedicine and cartilage repair. He is a member of the boards of Kingswood-Oxford School and JazzReach, a national jazz education organization. He is an appointed member  of the Connecticut Commission on Health Equity and Access. He serves as a team physician for the U.S. Olympic Cycling program, as well as Team Connecticut baseball, and has a clinical practice focused on problems of the knee and shoulder.

Dr. Alleyne is an avid skier, sailor, cyclist and jazz enthusiast.
